Kelli Montgomery played varsity softball for The Kinkaid School where she received all SPC four years. She led her team in batting average every single year, and finished with a .550 batting average her senior season.

She played for the Houston Power 18U Gold, and committed to the University of Houston her sophomore year of high school. She played all four years of her eligibility at the University of Houston. During her four years there, Kelli primarily played first base, but was also used as a designated hitter.

In her senior season, Kelli was ranked top 5 in the American Conference for RBIs, and was nationally ranked in the top 10 RBI leaders up until the last week season. She led the team in multi hit games with 7 and reached based streak of 12 in just a shortened 23 game season.

Kelli graduated in May of 2020 with a degree in psychology, and she is currently in graduate school at the University of Houston pursing a masters in accounting.

Kelli has been training at BreakAway for almost her whole entire softball career. Randy was Kelli’s hitting and strength coach from the age of 10 to 22.
