Lorenzo Hardit Jr. was born in Detroit, Michigan but moved to Texas in 2009. He grew up playing baseball but also loved playing other sports such as basketball, football, and soccer.

Lorenzo graduated from Bellaire High School in 2017 earning 1st team all-district honors as a pitcher his senior year. He earned a scholarship to play baseball at Prairie View A&M University. He was a starting pitcher his first 2 years of college then converted to a reliever role for the rest of his time there.

Lorenzo graduated with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology in 2021. He is also a certified personal trainer through International Sports Science Association program (ISSA).

Lorenzo loves to coach baseball and enjoys weightlifting and speed training. He coaches in hitting, pitching, and fielding mechanics.

Lorenzo is Cuban and is bilingual in English and Spanish.
