Marisa Trevino is a Houston native.She was a 4 year varsity softball player at Seven Lakes High School in Katy, TX. While there she played second base and outfield and accompanied the team in two deep UIL 5A playoff runs.

Marisa committed to Trinity University (San Antonio, TX) in her junior year of high school and was a 4 year starter for the Tigers from 2016-2019. Marisa was an outfielder and hitter during her time at Trinity. She earned SCAC Academic Honors and was placed on the Dean’s List each year. In her senior season she led her team in hits, doubles and RBI’s and earned 2nd Team All SCAC Honors. Marisa studied both Sociology and Education while at Trinity and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Sociology in May 2019.

Marisa has since moved back to Houston, earned her Master’s in the Art of Teaching (2021) and currently teaches 3rd grade. She is excited to bring her passion for outfield and hitting to Breakaway.
