Sammie Whitman played varsity softball for Lake Travis High School and also played for Next Gen Softball from the ages of 14 to 18.

She committed to Trinity University (San Antonio, TX) where she played middle infield, first base, and was a slapper from the years 2018-2022.

During her time at Trinity, Sammie was a 2-time All-SCAC honorable mention in 2021 and 2022, earned SCAC All Tournament honors in 2022, and currently ranks in the top 10 for highest career batting average in Trinity softball history.

She graduated from Trinity University in 2022 with a B.S. in Business Analytics & Technology with minors in Data Science
and Sports Management. She spent 2 years in San Diego after college
getting her Masters Degree in Business Analytics and has since moved
back to Houston where she works in data analytics consulting.

Sammie is passionate about guiding others in honing their abilities on the field and deepening their understanding of softball.
